Description/Blazon
A shield-shaped embroidered item with a semicircular base edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) scarlet border, consisting of a black background edged with a 1/16 inch (.16cm) scarlet border, 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76cm) in width overall. The beret flash was approved on 21 Feb 1990.

An oval-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) scarlet border consisting of a black background edged with a 1/16 inch (.16cm) scarlet border, 1 3/8 inch (3.49cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in width overall. The background trimming was approved on 21 Feb 1990.
